Cycling in the Lorraine

A fascinating region with varied countryside and a rich history. Just four hours drive from the Netherlands this is a hilly area with woodlands and lakes alternated with valleys and rock formations. The river Maas is at her best here, a beautiful river meandering past villages and towns.
You will find villages here in which time seems to have stood still, but also interesting towns such as Verdun or Sedan. You can also enjoy the local gastronomy in cosy restaurants. A delicious region for holiday makers wanting a weekend away to enjoy the nature, culture and hospitality of the region.
You will find a 260 km wood, lake and Abby route set out (brochure available at the local tourist information). A weekend away from it all, enjoy the peace and tranquility.
