Ticlio via Lima: 1 reviews
I climbed for a couple of hours each day over 2 days from about 1000m elevation as me and my guide/driver headed towards and over the pass, doing a tourist thing, including the final push (20km) to the pass- but then I needed my guide/car driver to load me in the car and descend to the east (QUICKLY) so I could ease the mild altitude sickness I was feeling. On the return trip I rode the entire decent to the Lima city limits! 100+km decent!! it doesnt get any better than that. I did this in 2007 when I was 88kg and 40 years old.
