No amenities at the top - but so what - the amenities are at the bottom. Seemed steeper than 6.4% - lots of 9-10%. A great climb from a beautiful town (Saint Saturnin). 600+ meters makes for a delightful morning ride and is not too committing. Not too much, not too little - just right! Pavement was fine going up and okay coming down - I''ve seen far worse in Provence!

Climbed on the 24th of June 2011 with strong head winds, which made it a rather nasty climb. The surfacing is not a roller either, but the view you get from the mont Ventoux and the descent back to Lioux makes you forget all the suffering.
