You do not mention Montenego!
I,ve just returned from there. I climbed the " stairway to the stars" from Kotor to the Mauseleum on the top of Lovcen. It was brilliant. Well surfaced quiet roads, unbelievable scenery directly above the sea & through wild national park.
From sea level to 1600 mtrs , over 30 hairpins & a fine circular route if you want through Cetinje. Get the maps out! you will not be dissapointed. Too many cyclists are following the same old routes up the same old climbs , go for the adventure. |

Hello Climb bikers.
I found your site while I was searching for facts about Passo Gavia. What a fantastic site, I will start to recommend it at once. Our lokal bike club are going to Italy to watch the 20' stage of the giro. We will be staying in a hotel rigth on the Passo Gavia. While we are there, we will climb Passo Stelvio, Bormio 2000 and Passo Gavio. So now we are waiting for some webcam pictures without snow on the hill tops - at least not so much that the roads are closed. In 2003 we was in France to climb up Mont Ventoux from all three sides. What a great trip !!!
