Notes: Tried Hautacam again this year after being demolished by it last year. Changes in gradient were still unsettling to overall rhythm and frame of mind making this climb feel harder than Ardiden and Tourmalet nearby.

A complete leg breaker. Already had the Tourmalet in the legs and did not take sufficient food on board descending Tourmalet on the way to Hautacam, but still, Haut. has these downhill sections as part of a 8percent/km average gradient. Sections >13-14%
