Very enjoyable climb. A must. The gradient is difficult but relatively steady so that you can get into a rhythm. Watch out for the very steep sections coming out of Bareges and in the last 600m.

Gestart in Luz Saint-Sauveur. Mooie klim in een prachtige streek. Vanaf de splitsing aan het skistation na Barèges was de weg niet in al te beste staat, dus, bergaf opletten en mouwtjes of jasje aandoen (fris).

Epic climb. First 10-12 KMs tough for me. Felt pretty good from 12KM to 17KM. Closed strong final 2KM despite steeper grades. Final 1-1.5KM is tough. Some 13%, 15%, 18% stretches. Felt strong and closed w/ a kick !
