When: Saturday and Sunday 5th and 6th of April 2008

Last year, about 20,000 cycling fans, including mountainbikers, participated at the Spring Classic on Saturday, the day before the professionals ride their race.

One can choose between the complete parcours, or trips of 140km or 75km with start and finish in Ninove.

2. Provinciaal Technisch Instituut, Centrumlaan 160, Ninove

Cyclo 140 km: 07:00-10:00

Update 04-02-08: The Koppenberg will replace the Kortekeer in the 2008 edition of the Ronde. Length remains the same. This change has not been reflected in the Google Earth file below!

The "village of the Tour of Flanders" this year is Bellegem, near Kortrijk. Due to a different approach towards Oudenaarde, the Kluisberg will be the first climb to cross, with the Nokereberg following. In comparison with last year, famous climbs like the Knokteberg, Eikenberg and Boigneberg are missing. The Koppenberg does not seem to return either, because, still, too dangerous.
