The summit "pagoda".

Beware of the STEEP end of the climb. 23% is the last 300m, hard.

col de fauniera, demonte story submitted on 6/22/2014
I did this today!

This climb is really a hard one (harder then both Stelvio and Gavia if you ask me).

This is a long one and you won''t see the end until you get up over the last 10% climb on the beginning of the blue in the chart here on this site.

We also had to walk thru some springsnow at the end coz all snow had not melted yet. That was necessery to reach the Marco Pantani monument.

We met some people on the summit that came from the Cunego side, seams ALOT easier, but hey .. :-) the tarmac is okey, not the last 100m asend but overall got. Very narrow road but not alot of traffic. You can fill water until around 1500m then you are on your own. One small restaurant after 400m of climbing to, but don''t count on it.

Lot of parking in Demonte to. So, give it a try, the monument is amazing, so was Marco Pantani to.

Passo Badde Urbara, Cuglieri story submitted on 6/22/2015
This is a pretty easy climb starting in Cuglieri (We rode Bosa-Modolo-Tresnuraghes-Sennariolo, road SS292). Just follow the SP19 road across Cugliari, passing a big old (Maybe Church) on the left you are on the right road.

This is a pretty stedy climb without any steep part. Just find your pace and keep it. Accelerate on the last 2km if your legs are still good.
