Information on the Pyrenees: |
Cols in the Pyrenees tend to be smaller, yet steeper than the climbs in the Alps. Therefor, the Pyrenees are, just like the Dolomites the ideal setting for the real climber, the Bahamontes, Van Impes or Pantanis of our time.
You will find numberless picturesque Romanesque and Gothics memories in the beautiful hearts of both the cities and villages characterize the several landscapes.
Also in cities like Montpellier, Carcasonne and Perpignan, which are good places to start your cycling tours from. Just like Lourdes, famous for its Sanctuary of Our Lady.
Amidst glaciers, woods, mountainmeadows, waters and rivers, the Pyrenees are a magnicifient region for cyclists, hikers and mountainbikers alike!
