The Eikenberg in Maarkedal, Maarke-Kerkem is one of the oldest climbs in the tour. It was climbed for the first time by the Ronde van Vlaanderen (Tour of Flanders) in 1956 and was climbed for the 29th time in 2006. The road is paved with cobblestones and you climb from 22 to 87 meters height for a length of 1175 m. The maximum gradient is 11%.
