I''ve climbed the Col de Clergeon in the summer of 2011 with my dad and brother. It was actually during a small trip of cycling during our vacation, before we went to climb the Alpe d''Huez. We accidentally came across this col and thought: "ok, lets just ride it, it cannot be that hard". Well, it was actually pretty hard when un prepaired! Especially the middle part, through the forrest, is steep and the 30 degrees wheater wasn''t helping. The profile picture says it all: nothing under 8 % for 7 km. In the end we made it and it turned out to be a nice practice for the Alpe d''Huez!
