Ucka - Vranja

I did the mountain at our stage in croatia. We were with 4 cyclists of the belgium united cycling team. It was a 6 hour trip and very windy ahead before climbing the ucka. The most difficult part is at the viaduct. There are a few kms very steep maybe 13, 14 %. After that part its stays around 8, 9 %. Very difficult to take till the top. The view on the top of the mountain was also magnificant. Next year ill take the mountain again. greets Bert

Did the Ucka as part of a 120km trip. I was only a beginning cyclist (with 1500km in the last 6 months befor), so I did not know what to expect. After all, everything went quite well. No stopping, no real problems (using my 30/27 for the stepest parts, 18% according to the signs). At the top, you have a beaiful view that makes worth the effort. My wife wa waiting at the top with supplies for th remaining part of the trip. Water supplies are required with 33°C at sea level.
