I agree with Bogdan and ninebjudj. From Podgora city (sea level) this climb is 30 km long, summit is at 1762 m. I did it in May 2008. From Makarska in 10 km you can reach the top maybe if you go direct mountain hike.

it''s 23K long from this point on map and it starts from about 320m altitude.beautifull climb.also you can start it from sea level from Makarska or Tučepi and that is 9 or 10 Km more.And it''s called Sveti JurE not jurA ,purgeru:)

It''s nice climb, but the distance is about 30 km, so it''s not that hard. I did it on MTB 4 years ago in August, but it''s better to avoid this climb during summer due to elevated temperatures. In case you do it, take a lot of water.
