I rode SuperB on a glorious Sepetember afternoon. Felt good after climbing the Peyresourde in the morning. The back valley gives superb views of the Madaleta and Aneto glaciers in Spain. I found it a tough climb due to the inconsistent gradient. Very hard to find a rhythm. At least the equal of Ventoux (pick your side). Having made it to the top, the views are utterly stupendous. The last 1500m are unforgiving....or maybe it was just a bad gig for me. Definitely one to put on your list.

My first ever HC climb. The average gradient is seriously skewed by the first two kms, and I dont think Id include them. The red section at 3km is seriously depressing if, like me, youve never climbed anything tougher than a Cat 3 climb before. Great views from about half way up and from the ski station at the top. Nice decent, as well, particularly the bottom half.
