Hello, I am just a local fellow and wanted to point out that these mountains belong to the Maritime Apls. The Aennines end at Savona, where the Alps start at the Cadibona Pass. Congratulations for your lovely website. Cheers.

this is reallly a beautiful climb: a great ride up the river valley from Vigntmigle and then left onto this just before Pigna. As you climb, you shift from olive trees and vinyards to a beautiful pine forest, which is rare so close to the coast. I was up there this weekend (may 14th 2011) and didnt see a car the entire way up.. road is very small but pretty good quality, it feels a steeper than the profile indicates as there are resonably often flat spots for 100 meters or so, so the ramps are steeper than indicated. Enjoy!
