Description

The road to this climb is closed to traffic. The road leads to a TV transmitter which is visible from all sides of the mountain.Lift the bike over the gate and start cycling into a world of pain. The climb is 2.55 km in length and is 20% in parts.

At an average of over 13% and a maximum of 20% this sure has to be one of the hardest climbs around the South East of the country.

Although less than 3K in length its the shere ferosity that makes this a real lung and leg buster.



Unless you are a mountain goat and a very fit one at that I would reccomend a compact and at least a 27/28 on the rear.



Most amazing views from the top on a good day, dont even thinkmof climbing it if its even slightly windy at the bottom as from experience it will be a gayle force at the top !
