The first part of the climb goes through dense forests and developes on a narrow road (no car traffic at all!) up to around 950m. From now on the road merges with the main road to the Mountain Hut ""Rifugio Alpino Pelizzo"": the last 3-4 km develop without vegetation and it can be terribly hot during the summer. Overall a tough climb with the possibility of a good meal on top ! Of course the view over the nearby mountains is fantastic and the adriatic sea can be seen on a nice clear day.
