Story by Rens from NIJMEGEN, Nederland, submitted on 14/09/2015
Not a lot of traffic. Thats the good part. Worst road I ever encountered and very steep gradients for a large part of the climb. Not very pleasant on a road bike.

Story by Guy Wardle from St. Austell, United Kingdom, submitted on 16/08/2013
I am not an expert Col grabber but this was a hard climb, steep from the start with a diabolical road surface all the way to Le Haag. Very uneven, severely cracked and numerous pot holes. Would want a VTT to descend it. Not surprisingly saw no other ascenders and only 2 just starting to descend. No views most of way but only 3 cautious motor bikes! Views from top of Col worth the grief.
