It starts in Holsthum on the bridge over the little river "Enz". Go direction "Ferschweiler", the climb kicks directly up between 12 - 14 % for the first 0,8 km. After leaving Holsthum it levels down to 6 - 7 % ! On a right-turn it kicks again up to 12 - 15 % nearly to 0,4 km before the summit. The summit is a wide plateau - the "Ferschweiler Plaeteau"
