Stories, information and comments from Blauen climbers

Started this climb from the junction with the L132 at km8 - where the real climbing starts, on an evening ride from Basel. The climbing is unrelenting, there is a slight respite at about halfway, but the climb is well shaded. There is no water on the climb but a bar and restaurant at the top. It is well worthwhile taking off the cycling shoes and going to the top of the observation tower for fantastic 360 degree views reaching (on clear day like I had) 200km south to the Alps. There are some poorly surfacd sections which need care on the descent
My personal climb rating:

Well-mannered humankind when he enters a recent place should be welcome. I do not know whether he writes in a yard goods hinge on, where I made a fumble suit mark me.
In any containerize, I hail you warmly.
