Lieven is correct. the climb is about 4 k, until the T-crossing, near the bridge, is just faux plat. The climb then starts gently, even in some plateaus, and starts with heavy gradients when you reach the rocks.
When the forrest opens up, it''s a nasty faux plat of about 1 km though suburbs until you reach the old village (with church)

I think this information is not correct. From grundhoff to Berdorf is 4km. it means an average of 5%. The first part is even less. Then comes the T crossing and the a 180° turn. Here its about 8% gradient. The 1km about 4 à 5 %. The last part after the ""predikstuhl"" is steep until you reach Berdorf.
