This climb starts at Gandia (in the province of Valencia, but not the city; the way this climb has been marked on this website is therefore not very clear). Take the CV 675 road from Gandia towards Barx. The first ca. 6 km go up only ca. 3/4%, but then the real climb begins, with another 3/4 km with percentages in the range of 7-10%. The road surf is excellent, the route is easy to follow and traffic is generally rather light. Very nice.
After these first 10 km. there are a few flat km, which will take you to the village of La Drova. You can then either continue to the village of Brax (and descend) or you can continue to the top of the Monduver mountain (840 m). If you want to do the latter, turn right at ca. 100 m before the signing marking the end of La Drova (at the bus stop marked La Residencia). Follow the (concrete) road upwards (pretty steep) with holiday homes on both sides and turn right at the end of the village (there are signs pointing to the Monduver, or simply keep your eyes on the mountain top, which is marked by telecom antennas etc.). The next 2/3 km are an irregular but generally rather challenging climb (here and there up to 15 % and maybe more). The road surf is not great but doable, and views are great.
