Stories, information and comments from Ucka climbers

I did the mountain at our stage in croatia. We were with 4 cyclists of the belgium united cycling team. It was a 6 hour trip and very windy ahead before climbing the ucka. The most difficult part is at the viaduct. There are a few kms very steep maybe 13, 14 %. After that part its stays around 8, 9 %. Very difficult to take till the top. The view on the top of the mountain was also magnificant. Next year ill take the mountain again.
My personal climb rating:

Did the Ucka as part of a 120km trip. I was only a beginning cyclist (with 1500km in the last 6 months befor), so I did not know what to expect.
After all, everything went quite well. No stopping, no real problems (using my 30/27 for the stepest parts, 18% according to the signs).
At the top, you have a beaiful view that makes worth the effort.
My wife wa waiting at the top with supplies for th remaining part of the trip. Water supplies are required with 33°C at sea level.
