Hard and very very step. The rough surface( hardly tarmac) make it even harder. Prepare for some strong winds as you slowly make your progress to the top.

Incredibly hard route. Left Maspalomas on GC 500 to Puerto Mogan. Headed up GC 200 up and over to San Nicholas. Began the dreaded climbing on GC 210 up through the valley towards Artenara. Hung a right on GC 606 and was slapped in the face with 20%+ grades for much of the next 12 km. Incredibly hard climbing, made harder by exposed roads and tough winds. One of the hardest climbs in all of Europe, this stretch on the 606.
