This climb is part of my 34 mile commute home. The gradient is nice and constant and from Glossop there is often a following wind. It is occasionally run as a hill climb time trial with the winning time being around 13-14 minutes for the top 3.2 miles (around two thirds of the climb shown here)- my best time for the whole climb from the bottom of Glossop (an extra kilometre on top of the 7.2km here)is a more modest 23 minutes! Enjoy.
