Stories, information and comments from Resceto climbers
Story by Mark Savage from Poole, United Kingdom, submitted on 17/04/2009
The climb to Resceto starts very gently and get progressively steeper, it is not a long climb or particularly hard but very enjoyable and quiet roads. Resceto is a very small village centred around the marble mining industry of Carrara. We stopped in Resceto at a local cafe for a espresso and lots of water before the ride back towards the coastline of Marina di Massa and Forte Dei Marmi. A great gentle climb which is part of a great area.
