Well I was relishing the prospect of attempting this pass after coming over the beautiful road from Kilgarvan, but 5 minutes in and I was having a rethink. Can''t remember coming across any road that just kicks steeper and steeper with little rest in between.

It''s a stunning road but make sure you''ve a nice low gear, big strong legs and amazing brakes for the descent on the other side!
