The climb goes mostly through the woods, but passes the nice village of Razzuolo. Take to the left at Passo della Colla (which marks the Italian watershed) and it will provide you a great view to the valley. Continue for a few minutes to reach Prato all Albero. You can also continue over the pass and reach Passo Sambuca which has a fantastic view to the north-east.
