Me and a mate rode it from Bagneres early Oct2010. Having rode the Peyresourde the day before we chose this as our second climb of the weekend due to its much shorter length and what we believed would be a walk in the park. We were pleasantly surprised to find it to be more of a challenging ride than first thought. Starts off easy and then climbs steeply for a few k followed by a nice easy bit in the middle. The last 3-4k was a bit of a struggle. Unfortunately the top is a total anti climax, no views, no cafe!! We descended back down into Bagneres, what a joy, really fast but with the challenge of negotiating the hairpins which nearly caught us out. A really nice end to a couple of days in the Pyreness.
