Story by Daniel from , England, submitted on 21/08/2006
I tackled this climb in summer 2005, starting from the Briancon side crossing over into Italy. It is a medium gradient, but is not very long and would be regarded as quite easy by decent club cyclists. At the summit, the signpost also indicates the border between Italy and France. The main problem is that the road is the prominent access route from the Alpes to Turin (Torino) and therefore is fairly busy. On the descent to Cesana, I was held up in a massiv queue of cars!
