Story by Michal from Warsaw, Poland, submitted on 18/08/2014
Made it!...on 8 August 2014 on my 7,5kg dogma think 2. I rode from Austria (Kotschsch) through Plockenpass to Paluzza and then Sutrio, Good asphalts, beutiful views, so calmy empty...it was around 10 a.m. when i reached the summit. At 10.30 only one shop was open and i could buy a water to refule. Last 3 km is an issue...epic conversation with myself. Made it directly without any stop. Way down to Ovaro with shuttle speed when you see suffered people standing with bikes and thinking what to do then ;-) Through Comeglians, Suttiro, Palluzza i came back through Monte Croce di Carnico to home in Kotschach. Best adventure and amaizing Monte Zoncolan will stay in my memory for a long time!

Rode it in bad weather.

But from this side it is very ok to do. Only the last km are very hard.

Tomorrow we attack the other side!
