Monte Madonna - Villa di Teolo

We did the climb from Treponti on a hot and sunny day. The first part to Teolo is easy to do. The second part is more tough. Nice area to bike. We came from Chioggia by car to make a nice bike trip in this area

My personal climb rating:

Not sure of the rating but I am rating on must do not difficulty. As the another individual posted the climb is not well known and the locals know it is a tough climb out of Teolo. If you are riding in the area it is a must do if you like good climbs. The road is usually in great shape but can be dirty after a few days of rain. Caution on the descent due to visitors driving up the road to visit the church. There is a water point at the 3 km area.

My personal climb rating:

I rode up it today after feeling good going into Teolo....i had clearly forgotten how tough the last 3km are...nearly all of which are above 10%. On the way back down, sitting in Teolo drinking a coffee, it was interesting to see that in the 15 minutes i was there 40 or cyclists went through Teolo and only 1 actually turned off to go up Madonna. The only advice I can say is dont underestimate it...a nice and tough, but rewarding climb.
