Have done this climb several times, it is a beautiful climb that is challenging right from the start. The views are spectacular. The first few times I stopped and turned around at the 6k mark, I have never seen a road that steep, there is also a shrine were the Virgin Mary apparently appeared to one of the locals some years ago at this point. After a few days of riding the Veneto roads and getting my cycling legs I returned and pushed through the 6k point (16% grade) and it was amazing. You can continue this route all the way to the Monte Grappa. Put it on your bucket list, It is a great climb with lots of Switch backs.
