Stories, information and comments from Mont Saint Odile climbers
Story by Brian Adamson from Strasbourg, France, submitted on 26/06/2010
Starting from Obernai, the route climbs gently to Ottrott. From Ottrot, the climb is steady and mostly covered by the forest canopy, making it nice even on a hot summers day. It was 28c they day we climbed. Lots of water or other hydration fluids needed. Most people with average fitness can manage this one if they climb slowly and constantly. Views at the top are fabulous!
