Stories, information and comments from Lammersdorfer Berg climbers :

Story by Roger Thijs from Kanne, Belgium, submitted on 6/20/2008
I was on the Lammersdorfer, august 12, 2007. A few days before we went up by car, looking for garnet stones, but due to the rain we had to stop the digging. By bike it is an impressive climb, regular but steep. It was a very calm sunday, so I climbed under the trees in a divine silence, standing on the pedals. The paved part of this climb is too short to die, but it can hit you seriously when not in shape. It took 44 minutes to reach the fence after 5,3 km, where I stopped. The road that followes is not a friendly one for race bikes.
My personal climb rating: 4 stars
