Climbed up to La Plagne from Aime, after first having climbed from Aime up to Laval on the opposite side. We were hoping to go over the Cormet DAreches, but the road turned to a track at Laval. So decided to drop back down to Aime and climb La Plagne. Was a really good climb. 22 hairpin bends (yes, one more than Alpe DHuez). Counts down from 22, and the gap between 10 and 9 seemed to go on forever ! Great view over towards Mont Blanc once you get up to Plagne Centre. Ugly resort, but the climb is a good challenge, with a nice fast descent - perfect. Recommend doing it if your in this region. Stay in Bourg St Maurice, as its a good base for lots of Cols/passes. Enjoy.
