This is a massive climb. For 11 kilometres the gradient hardly drops below 7%... it is neverending route to the skies. First 2/3 goes on non-paved road, the last third is paved. Starting point is village Sumiac (Cervena skala is just its local part). Beautiful sightseeing at the top. Just legendary.

Id covered 320kms throughout my trip, from my city to Kralova Hola and then backwards. It was a little bit hard to find for me because Ive never been there before.Kralova Hola is a special mountain with its height (1948m) in the Low Tatra. It starts from Cervena Skala and after 2kms you arrive in Sumiac, a little village. This little way is considered to be a preparation for the next 9kms in my opinion. For next you have to face with one problem if you ride with road bike(like me):the road becomes very tough not only cause its steepy feature ( 10-15% percent average steepness)but also the gravelly soil formed by the erosion. With mountain bike it is easier to get to the top so I recommend that.As we getting closer to the top we can see all the nearing mountains that are smaller than Kralova Hola. This splendid view worths the effort to get there I think. The last 5kms way is much better because the road is asphalted. It is bad quality so you have to be careful during downhill. Within last 5kms we can find water spring at the edge of the road. It is very cool, Id tried it.At the top you can see a TV (receiver-transmitter) tower and a little warming place in it.If you climb in autumn or spring you can place yourself on a little desk to have a rest and get warmed up.Getting down from the peak you have to pay attention cause the bad quality of the road.Nice mountain views from the High Tatras can also be seen at the top.I think it is a good trip for having a rest:D.
