although quite short this is one of the best climbs in the lakes. luckily theres enough to keep your mind off the gradient what with the surrounding beauty of imposing rock faces watching your every pedal stroke. it really kicks up in the last last 100 metres or so, but is worth every bead of perspiration youll say goodbye to on the way up. do it, youll love it. plus theres a couple more belting climbs you can add on to a days ride around here.
