Ive cycled the Heitersberg many many times and it might not be very long but at the top its a killer. It starts out through a residential area. The gradient isnt very much at this point. After about 500m you reach the forest where the road really starts kicking up and it just gets steeper and steeper. At about 2.2Km you leave the shade of the forest right when the really really hard stuff begins. From this point on the gradient never drops below 10% until the top. In the summer the sun just beats down on you which makes it even harder. The last Km of this climb is a killer.
