I did the exact same climb just a few days ago and its a nice one. Maybe too many bikers (on a motorcycle that is), but nice nevertheless. However, the math is off. Since you have two peaks there are more altimeters on the track - there is a descent of almost 500 meters between them. So, you actually make almost 1.400 altimeters, which puts the average just over 7% (I clocked 25,4 kilometers b.t.w.).
