Stories, information and comments from East Lomand climbers
Story by Lee Woodburn from Edinburgh, United Kingdom, submitted on 01/08/2014
This is a brilliant climb which starts at 10%+, levels off so that you can catch your breath for a minute before you take on the last 10%+ 500m dead straight road up to telegraph masts. This leads you to the car park for an aerial view of Fife and the Forth.

Only problem is that the car park is as far as you can go and you have to return the way you came if you are on a road bike.

It''s a great training hill and because it''s not a throughway there are little if any cars.

Just a bit disappointing when you ascend and descend 5km to find you have not gone anywhere.
