Stories, information and comments from Druogno climbers
Story by Martin from , UK, submitted on 24/08/2007
Climbed this 2007 on the Leman-Adriatique Randonee. Stayed overnight at Domodossola which is at the base of the climb so no warm up, straight into it. The ascent is a bit trickier than it looks on paper as there are constant changes of gradient, which along with the fact the road surface is not too good and there being a number of tunnels, makes getting a smooth rythm difficult. At the top there is not much, just a leveling of ascent and a coast down to the next village.
