Stories, information and comments from Death Valley West climbers
Story by Scott Weaver from Bishop, United States, submitted on 15/05/2017 20:51:55
Of all the wonderful climbs in the Eastern Sierra this one is by far the most overlooked. Combine it with the Waucoba/Death Valley Road from Big Pine you get 8,100''+ of climbing in 65 miles. It has a great remote and wild feel. Bring lots of water. Be prepared. There are no amenities and almost no traffic.
