I climbed this mountain on 15th June 2008. On a beautiful sunny sunday, I started my trip at the borders of the Geiranger Fjord and followed the road till the toll station (free for bikes). After the toll station, you have to climb a dirt road of approx. 7 km (Nibbevegen). During my climb, I had to climb about 10 km through snow walls, which was incredible. The reward, the view on the Geiranger fjord with the snow covered pieks surrounding it, was magnificent. I would not advise to do the climb in bad weather conditions (the downhill on the dirtroad could be dangerous). The Nibbevegen is only open from June till October!
