In the midst of winter in 2005 we did the climb to celebrate my 40th birthday ! It was part of the ""Route des Légends"". With my second rated mtb-bike (+20kg) and after some 33kms (and a hangover of the day before) this was for me the heaviest (not long but ...)climb of all time. This was (at that time) heavier then La Redoute or any other Liège-Bastogne-Liège climb (and i have done them all !) What a feeling afterwards !
