The Col du petit St. Bernard is a fun climb that is long, but not steep. The views are gorgeous, and the history is really interesting. This was the major pass that connected Lyons and Rome a thousand years or more years ago. Theres still a working hospice at the top -- when we passed by, the door was open. This isnt challenging, especially compared to the Madeleine close by; but it makes for a very pleasant day.
