This is a great climb. It''s fairly long so you''ll be plugging away for some time before you get to the ''fun'' 14% sections at the top. I rode this during 2011''s Alps Open Tour which gave it a marvellous atmosphere. I did the final few miles with a French club rider who warned me that the top was "very ''ard"; when we got there I thought of all the 20% beasts I do at home and got stuck in, and, to my eternal pride, dropped the French guy (but then paid massively for showing off on the Mollard later on!)
