My first long biking tour in 2006 was from Massat crossing the Col de Saraille to Aules-les-Bains. From there I climbed the Col de Agnes. The first part is a straight road; it seems to be flat but...! After 2 km it is a winding road to top of the col. The view is great! On top there are wild black horses. And be aware of cows on the road! From the col d Agnes I biked direction Vicdessos and Tarasscon. From Tarasscon I crossed the Col de Port on my way back to Massat.
