A beautiful climb, which really starts down Le Landeron on the lac de Bienne to give over 1000m of climbing. Never too steep, with a flatish section in the middle as you pass through Lignières and get water it passes through fields, forest and a final exposed section.
Great views all across the flat valley with the lakes of Neuchatel, Bienne and Murten and a classic panorama of the Bernese Oberland with the Eiger Munch and Jungfrau in the distance.
The Antenna on the top is a real landmark and can be seen for many miles before you start the climb.
Nice café at top :)
My personal climb rating:

This is a very popular montain to climb in the Jura Montains. DT Swiss even called a product ""mon chasseral"". Usually cyclists start from the Twann next to Biel lake at about 430 m over sea level to climb it. In summer its wondeful climb because you are in the shade of the forest most of time and the lest few kilometers it gets cooler because of the altitude and you can enjoy the view over Switzerland.
