I climbed the Cote de Seraing in advance of the Caravan on the 1st Stage of the TDF on the 1st July 2012. Following the route it was a great day and I came on to the climb with heavy legs. The base is a steep cobble section and whilst not too long the surface saps you. It was agreat short climb and by the 1km banner it had flattened out and became a rush to the finish line to the cheers of the Belguim crowd. fantastic!
